The Purple Eagle Medal is a retired Confederate Medal that was used from 2007 - 2021.

Awarded by the General in Chief or Theater Commanders.
Awarded to all CSA officers with 25 minor/major defeats in battles against Union opponents.
This medal carries 10 OBD points.
