The ACWGC's 25th Anniversary Celebration!

Come join us in 2022 for a year-long celebration of the founding of our online Club. Since 1997 the American Civil War Gaming Club has endeavored to create a friendly gaming arena for Civil War enthusiasts. We hope every Member has found a lifetime's worth of great games and good friends here with us. We look forward to another 25 years with our dedicated Members, administrators, friends, and family. To all past, present, and future Members - SALUTE!

Part of our 2022 celebration is the creation of a full slate of tournaments for our members to enjoy. There will be five tournaments in 2022 covering the entire span of the war from 1861 to 1865. Enlist in as many of these tournaments as you wish and enjoy the thrill of competing against the best Civil War gamers online!

With five tournaments in 2022 the only way to determine an overall "winner" in the 25th Anniversary Tournament is to declare that whichever side wins three of the five tournaments are the Champions. Grab your knapsack, clean your musket, boil some coffee - it is time to go to war!

Total War 1861 - 1865

The ACWGC's Department of Records is arguably the most underappreciated website in the Club. Ours has been ran by Gen. Ernie Sands for many years and has remained an integral and important part of our Club since its creation. For 2022 we will be "keeping score" in the Department of Records of each completed battle between Union and Confederate Members. Every OBD point earned in a battle, multiplayer or one-on-one, will count towards your side's accumulative OBD point total in 2022. At the end of the year we will use the Department of Records database to determine which side's members earned the most total OBD points in 2022. The side who earns the most points in recorded battles will be declared the victor of the Total War 1861 - 1865 Challenge. For more information on the specific rules please see the Rules page.
